Ozaawagiizhig Manito

Besides being a licensed Realtor, Ozaawagiizhig Manito is also our Real Estate & Land Claims Research Services Manager. Whether you just need to trace an allotment for a single family member to solidify a membership issue, or you need to trace all the allotments made within the geographic boundaries of a reservation, he can get it done.

Proving definitively that you descend from a specific individual named on a base roll, filing land claims, or establishing a Tribe's jurisdictional boundaries is a serious matter and not the kind of thing that you want to take lightly. You want to make sure you get it done right the first time. Ozaawagiizhig's strong work ethic and attention to detail is what sets him apart from others and what makes him such an indispensable part of our research team.

Ozaawagiizhig is a citizen of the Saginaw, Swan Creek & Black River Bands of the Chippewa Nation, though he descends also from Grand Traverse Bands of Ottawa & Chippewa on his Maniteau (OsaawmikooNs) side, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation on his Johnson/Johnston (Okawnawnis) side, and Walpole Island First Nation on his Pontiac (Wainchegezhegoquay) side.
